How Do I get Started?
Are You Accepting New Clients?
I know starting therapy can bring up a bunch of complicated feelings. So I try to make the process as un-complicated as possible.

Do You Accept Insurance?
Currently I am no longer accepting insurance clients. However, I am happy to send you a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential out of network reimbursement.
What Is Therapy Like?
The therapy process is different for everyone. Just as we are all unique as people, the therapy process will form around your unique needs. The therapy space is a time for you to explore your challenges, strengths, the tensions in your life, things that scare you, anxieties, emotions that feel out of hand, dreams and aspirations, and patterns that occur in your relationships and life in general.

My therapeutic style takes a depth and humanistic approach. This means we will explore feelings that are really difficult to cope with, things that just seem to keep happening to you, how you have learned to view yourself, and influences from your lived experience. Together we will work to understand and define the root of the problems in your life, and how to find deeper understanding and relief. It's very important to me that we work to honor your unique needs, personality, as well as how you want to heal and grow.

My hours are generally 6am-5pm (MST) Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please reach out for current availability.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
If you need to reschedule, please reach out at least 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel, please do so prior to 24 hours before session or the full fee will be billed.
What If I Feel Nervous Or Unsure?
That's completely normal! Most people get butterflies, second-guess themselves, and feel anxious (among many things) about speaking with a stranger about the deeper, more complex parts of themselves. But that's alright, and a very much accepted part of the process. You're here because you're wanting to change something, or many things, about your life - so the first step is always going to be a difficult one. Just remember, you're worth the work.

Can My Pets Join Me In Session?
Of course. Our animals can be sources of support and reassurance, so if having them in session will help you out, then I'm all for it. Just as well, you may even see mine make an appearance.
